MEET THE PRESIDENT
John Bakarich III
First and foremost, John is a family man who has been married to his wife, Melanie, for 22 years. They have 3 boys; twins Jack & Dane (14) and Dax (9). He enjoys hunting/fishing, BBQing and golfing, as well as sponsoring and coaching youth sports.
John was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas and attended Kansas State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science and Management from the College of Engineering. After being fast-tracked from Project Manager to Director of Operations, it became clear that creating his own business and leading others was necessary. Baron Contracting was established in 2006 with the mission to become a “Class A” Commercial General Contractor in Kansas City, providing a level of service and quality that did not exist. His vision to build a legacy of excellence within the industry and throughout individual communities remains the same today.
He has strong ties to the local community and his past and present board terms include many local non-profit organizations such as The American Red Cross, Kansas City’s Entrepreneurs’ Organization and the YMCA. In 2014, he and Melanie established a foundation named Train It Forward. This organization is dedicated to teaching life-saving skills and spreading water safety knowledge to the Kansas City community through free, convenient and fun training-based events. In 2017, John was elected to the Piper USD 203 Board of Education and continues to give back by lending his professional expertise and oversight as they build new schools.

We only hire the best people, subcontractors and material vendors who deliver first-class quality and know how to pay attention to detail. It is critical for us to use those with top-level talent, attitude, and customer service in order to guarantee exceptional results.

We understand the importance of a sharp engineer, an architect with a keen eye, as well as master craftsman that uses high-quality materials. STEP 4: COMPLETION
Final inspections and punch lists are the Achilles heel for most General Contractors. However, we see these milestones as celebrations of success. We are constantly informed by clients and architects that we are more critical of our work then they are. We’ve mastered the art of expedient punch list completion and are the best in the business when it comes time to handing over the keys.
